We specialise in boutique and clinical skincare formulation, with a focus on anti-ageing. Every client is different, so our process is designed to flex around your needs, whether you're starting from scratch or refining something existing.
Our Process
Step 1
Free initial consultation
Start with a complimentary consultation to discuss your vision, goals, and product ideas. We'll do a little brainstorming together and get a clear picture of what you're looking to create. No obligation at this stage.
Step 2
Formulation quote & feasibility
Before committing to formulation and sampling, we put together a mock formula and provide a detailed cost estimate to make sure our wholesale manufacture pricing works within your budget. Two fee tiers apply depending on your requirements:
Standard
Initial quote & mock formula
$350 + GST
For most formulation requests. We assess your concept, put together a mock formula, and prepare a pricing estimate.
Complex
Extensive research or sourcing required
$450 + GST
Where the proposed formulation or specific requested ingredients require additional research or sourcing beyond our standard inventory.
*These fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee that we will proceed to formulation and sampling. Both parties must agree before moving to the next phase.
Step 3
Formulation & sampling
Once we agree to move forward, the creativity begins. Pricing depends on whether you have an existing formula or need us to build one from scratch. All packages include 5x initial samples (50ml each) plus four further rounds of samples based on your feedback.
A) You have a formula
Existing formulation on paper
You supply the complete formula. We create 5x initial samples (50ml each), then up to four further rounds of 5x samples based on your feedback. Adjustments can include texture, viscosity, fragrance, colour, absorbency, and specific ingredients.
Fee includes: ingredients, packaging, and delivery for each sample lot.
$1,800 + GST
If an ingredient in your formula is not in our current inventory and costs over $100, an additional charge may apply, this would always be discussed with you before proceeding.
B) We Build It
New formulation from your specifications
We develop the formula from your brief and goals. Includes 5x initial samples (50ml each) plus up to four further rounds based on your feedback. Same adjustment scope as above.
Fee includes: ingredients, packaging, and delivery for each sample lot.
$2,800 + GST
Same conditions apply for out-of-inventory ingredients exceeding $100.
C) Need Fewer Samples?
Existing formulation — refinement with minimal sampling.
If you have an existing formula that needs refinement on paper only, or you require just 1–2 samples, we can construct a specific fee tailored to your request. Please detail your scenario in the enquiry form and we'll follow up.

Timeline
How long does it take?
Allow 4–8 weeks from sign-off to receiving your first samples. Here's a general breakdown:
1️⃣ - Consultation & agreement
Free consultation, quoting phase, and both parties agree to proceed. Timing varies.
2️⃣ - Ingredient procurement & lab time
Generally 2–4 weeks from sign-off for first samples, allowing time for ingredient sourcing and other variables.
3️⃣ - Sample rounds & feedback
Up to four rounds of refinements based on your feedback. Each round adds to the total timeline.
4️⃣ - Full-scale manufacturing
Once your sample is approved, we move into production, packaging, and shipping
Please allow for more than 4 weeks if ingredient supply delays or peak production periods arise. If your request is urgent, let us know.

Other Important Info
IP ownership
Intellectual property transfer
The formulation & sampling fees above do not include IP ownership. If you wish to own the exclusive rights to your formulation:
Full IP transfer - $4,500 + GST
Grants you exclusive ownership of the formulation, meaning it will never be used for any other brand or purpose beyond manufacturing for your sole distribution.
Not ready for full IP transfer? We're happy to sign an NDA regardless. Your formulation is treated as confidential and manufactured exclusively for your brand.
Manufacturing & packaging
Production, labelling & packaging
All manufacturing details are quoted custom based on your product and quantities.
No minimum order quantity — purchase as bulk or individually packaged units, whatever suits your needs.
Labelling — we can apply basic physical labels (your logo/graphics) for an additional fee. For high-resolution or waterproof labels, we recommend sourcing from a professional print supplier.
Packaging — you can supply your own packaging, or we can order selected packaging from our external wholesale suppliers.
Stability & testing
Stability testing & certification
In-house stability testing — emulsion stability testing can be initiated during the sampling phase at no additional cost.
Preservative Efficacy Testing (PET) — outsourced to a specialist lab. Generally starting from $1,500.
Other certifications — we can review your formulation and assist with specific certifications once we know what the formulation entails.
Please note: We are not GMP certified. This may restrict manufacturing for certain export destinations or products requiring SPF certification. If you have specific regulatory requirements, please raise these early in the consultation so we can advise accordingly.
